Thanks Catherine. That’s family. Some of them have taken some time to get over their previous lives; one step at a time and you’ll always get there. Or at the very least make their lives a whole lot better.
The only thing I can think to say in response to seeing these delightful denizens of Avondale is: “What if you hadn’t gone to that conference in Australia when you were living in South Africa, Harry?” I simply cannot imagine not knowing this gentle place and its gentle people (and by “people” I mean all Avondalians who has eyes, except, possibly, the potatoes).
What wonderful photos. The animals have really found a safe haven with you. They all look so happy.
